Prince Kung's Mansion

Prince kung's Mansion, located in Liuyin Street, Xicheng District, Beijing, is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is the largest Wangfu house in the Qing Dynasty. It has served as the residence of Heyi and Yongzheng. In 1851, Prince Gong Xin became the owner of the house, and the name of Prince kung's Mansion came. Prince kung's Mansion is a grand scale with an area of ​​about 60,000 square meters. It is divided into two parts: the mansion and the garden. It has more than 30 various architectural communities, and its layout is exquisite and extraordinary.

Prince kung's Mansion has gone through the historical process of the Qing Dynasty from its peak to its demise, carrying an extremely rich historical and cultural information, so it has the saying that "a Prince Gong Palace, half of the Qing Dynasty". Under the care of the leaders of the State Council of Zhou Enlai, Gu Mu and Li Lanqing, the work of Gong Wangfu’s retreat was completed in 28 years, making it the only Qing Dynasty palace in China that was open to the public.

After the fall of the Qing Dynasty, the property rights of the residence belonged to Fu Jen University. In the early 1980s, Prince kung's Mansion became a large compound with 8 units and hundreds of households, with more than 200 households. To repair Prince Gong’s Mansion, the first task is to relocate. In 1988, Prince Gong's Garden was opened to the public. After the completion of the renovation of the house in Prince Kung's Mansion in 2008, it was fully opened to the public.

Prince kung's Mansion is located in the Shichahai area of ​​Fengshuibaodi in Beijing. It covers an area of ​​more than 60,000 square meters. The back cover of the "99 and a half" is the main building and the garden. The palace is magnificent and the garden is beautiful and prosperous. In the front and rear seas that were piled up in the Wangfu and Baylor Houses, Prince Gong’s House was called “the first best landscape in the city” because of its richness, and it was even more famous for its comparable system of the Forbidden City.

The first half of Prince kung's Mansion is a magnificent mansion, and the second half is a deep and beautiful classical garden with a total area of ​​nearly 60,000 square meters.
