Kaiping Liyuan is located in Yuhua Village, Tangkou Town, Kaiping City, Guangdong Province. It is the private garden of Xie Weili, a beautiful overseas Chinese in Tangkou Town. Kaiping Liyuan is named after the name of the park. Kaiping Liyuan started construction in 1926 and was initially built in 1936. It covers an area of ​​19,600 square meters and integrates traditional gardening, western architecture and Jiangnan water features. Its unique architectural style is in China. Unique in the garden, it is China's relatively complete combination of Chinese and Western culture.

Liyuan can be divided into three parts: villa area, large garden area, and small garden area. The three districts are separated by artificial rivers or fences, and the three districts are cleverly integrated by bridge pavilion or Tongtian corridor. There is a garden in the park. There are scenery in the scenery, pavilions and pavilions, elegant layout and uniqueness. A sense of ingenuity. The entire standing garden is not only unique in the composition of the building, but also the unique and novel conception of planting flowers and trees, all kinds of famous flowers and trees, landscape trees, etc.

Traditional horticulture, Western architecture, and Jiangnan water features are integrated into one, blending the unique architectural style of Chinese and Western architecture. The park has four large pavilions of “Liyuan”, “Sculpture of the self-cultivation” and four bridge pavilions of “Liangxiang”, “playing water”, “Guanlan” and “Jade”, as well as stone-style Roman architecture-- - "Bird's Nest", a flower-shaped building shaped like a bird cage----"Hua Ting Pavilion", exquisite workmanship, unique. The inlaid calligraphy couplet in the engraving makes the Liyuan a strong traditional culture.

Built in April 1931, the building has a projected area of ​​146 square meters, a length of 12.6 meters and a width of 11.6 meters. The building is three and a half stories high. The name of the building is the owner of the garden, Mr. Xie Weili, who took his father Xie Shengzhen and his own name. It is the center of the life of the owner and the four wives. The roof of the building is a Chinese ancient glazed tile heavy-duty building, and it is cleverly built into the insulation layer. The interior floors and stairs are all Italian stone.

The Kaiping attractions have been implemented with a joint ticket, including four attractions: Liyuan 60 yuan, 50 yuan from Zili Village, 20 yuan from Chikan Film Studio, and 50 yuan from Malong Longyi Building. The coupon fee is 130 yuan, which can go to four attractions and is valid for two days.
The elderly are 65-69 years old (by ID card or old-age card) and 1.2M-1.4M children buy half-ticket.
The elderly are 70 years old (including 70 years old) or above (by ID card or old age card) and children under 1.2M are exempt from the ticket.
